R.O.O.T.S. Retention of Outstanding Teachers and Staff
An Exciting Opportunity for Professional Development Recognition!
Who is this for?
Child care providers currently working in the classroom 20 hours
or more a week in a State-licensed home or
center. Head
Start employees are not eligible as Head Start receives SEED grants.
When is it?
March 6, 2006 through August 31, 2006 (as long as funding lasts).
What is it?
Stipends awarded will be based on the amount of training you
have received. This is a first-come, first served program for
as long as the funding lasts.
Incentives!
Cash incentives are based on the level of education
or training you have
received.
